I started this project of up-cycling at the end of my degree in 2023 and have continued creating wearable pieces ever since, as I love this form of artistic expression. I am slowly honing in my craft and learning more each time I make something new.

Charity shopping has always been a favourite pastime of mine. I’ve always loved collecting pretty objects, and the importance of sustainability is deeply ingrained in me. I can’t see myself wanting to create from new materials when there’s already such an abundance of things being thrown away. Whether it’s something gathering dust in a wardrobe or left on the city streets, I want to find those forgotten objects and bring them back to life.
